Come a voler rappresentare su tela i bellissimi coralli del Mar Rosso, che vivono in fondali coloratissimi e vivi, così il maestro ha dipinto questo corallo dal profondo blu. E’ riuscito a donare le corrette sfumature e gradazioni alle nuance nelle pieghe dello stesso, ed accentuare invece, dove serviva, l’intensità del colore regalando al dipinto una sensazione unica, quasi impalpabile, che il corallo sembri vero. As if he wanted to represent on canvas the beautiful corals of the Red Sea, which live in very colorful and lively seabeds, so the master painted this deep blue coral. He managed to give the correct shades and gradations to the nuances in the folds of the same, and instead accentuate, where needed, the intensity of the color, giving the painting a unique, almost impalpable sensation, that the coral seems real.
